CLAM® and MINI-WASH Parts and Cleaning Systems
All systems use water soluble, biodegridable detergents to provide an environmentally safe methods for washing parts containing grease, oil, chips and dirt. CLAM® Products Systems use hot water and biodegradable detergents to clean parts. This protects employees and the environment by removing exposure to harmful solvents such as tri-chlor’ freon and petroleum distillates like mineral spirits or kerosene.
CLAM® Products presents the CLAM® and MINI-WASH Parts
Cleaning Systems for consideration. All systems use water soluble,
biodegradable detergents to provide an environmentally safe
method for washing parts containing grease, oil, chips and dirt.
CLAM® SPRAY CABINET MODELS
CLAM® Spray Cabinet Models spray the parts with hot solution
(180¼F) and 60 - 150 GPM and 35 - 74 PSI. The parts are rotated
during the cleaning process by a water driven turntable which
employs system pump energy rather than separate drivers. CLAM¨
Systems have an oil skimming process which is an integral part of
unit design. CLAM®Spray Manifolds are designed to operate without
the use of high maintenance nozzles.
Two sizes are normally producted for rapid delivery. These are the
C50E and F200E. Other sizes are built on customer request.
Units are supplied in carbon steel, with a polyurethane painted
exterior. Stainless Steel construction and a wide variety of options
are also available. See the descriptive literature included.
MINI-WASH SPRAY CABINET MODELS
MINI-WASH Spray Cabinet Models are designed for customers
who need aqueous cleaning in a smaller package or who have
long, slender parts to clean such as axles and drive shafts. The
MINI-WASHª Systems employ the same manifold design used in
the CLAM® Systems.
Two MINI-WASHª sizes are normally producted..
These are the MW1624 or MW1636. Other sizes are built on customer
request. Units are supplied in carbon steel, with a
polyurethane painted exterior.
MINI-WASHª SUBMERGED ROTATING BASKET SYSTEMS
MINI-WASHª Submerged Rotating Basket Systems were developed
for precision cleaning of small, delicate parts which require
water cushioning during cleaning. They also can be used for volumes
of small parts which are not easily cleaned by spray alone.
MINI-WASHª Submerged Rotating Basket Systems allow both
spray and submerged spray operations. These systems can be
expanded to include optional spray rinse, submerged rinse, ultra-
